Brad formed The Keepers ("Best Rock Band in Austin", Third Coast Music Magazine) as a studio band to record some songs co-written with Ronnie Lane, the late great founder of the Small Faces and the Faces. These songs appear on The Keepers' first CD Looking for A Sign, released in 1995. The band had so much fun recording the CD, they decided to start putting on live shows. This introduced Austin, Texas to the low down rockin' rhythms of the Keepers, who became an instant hit with the more hip patrons of Austin's live music scene.

With Brad's vocals and rhythm guitar, Jesse "Guitar" Taylor and Ponty Bone formed the core of the group's distinctive sound. Backed up by the Rhythm section of David and Leland Waddel, and often joined by the amazing Tomas Ramirez on saxophone, the Keepers have made their mark on the Austin Music Scene.

The Keepers CD Looking for A Sign is also available on Lizard Disc/ Munich Records. Look for a rerelease of this CD in 2002 from South Congress Records.
